Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner is dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families in Luxembourg. Their multidisciplinary team provides psychosocial, administrative, logistical, and financial support, as well as household assistance, educational activities, tutoring, and entertainment for both the child and their siblings.

Beyond direct aid, the foundation is actively involved in raising awareness through national campaigns and collaborations with both local and international organizations to improve the lives of children battling cancer. Additionally, they play a crucial role in funding research, aiming to develop less toxic and more effective treatments to increase survival rates and improve patients' quality of life.

Mamie et Moi is a non-profit organization in Luxembourg dedicated to strengthening intergenerational connections and promoting solidarity between generations in a culturally diverse society. Founded in 1996, Stëmm vun der Strooss is a Luxembourg-based non-profit organization dedicated to the social and professional integration of disadvantaged individuals. Recognized by the Ministry of Health, the organization works closely with the Food Bank to provide essential support to those in need.

Their beneficiaries include homeless individuals, unemployed people, recipients of minimum income, former prisoners, asylum seekers, migrants, and individuals facing mental health challenges or substance dependency. De Plooschter Projet is a Luxembourg-based initiative dedicated to raising awareness about leukemia and encouraging stem cell donations. Through regular awareness and registration campaigns, they educate the public on the importance of stem cell donation and its life-saving potential.

Since its founding in 2014, the organization has registered over 15,000 potential donors, with 96 individuals having donated their stem cells, offering patients a second chance at life. Their impactful campaigns, such as "Become a Stem Cell Donor – Save a Life" and "The Fight Against Leukemia is a Team Sport", have significantly increased stem cell donor registrations in Luxembourg.

With over 60 dedicated volunteers and a team of certified nurses, De Plooschter Projet organizes more than 40 awareness events per year. They collaborate with companies, schools, and public events, providing people with the opportunity to join the fight against leukemia.

Europa Donna Luxembourg is a non-profit organization committed to supporting women affected by breast cancer and advocating for better care and awareness. As an independent, non-profit, and apolitical organization, IMS Luxembourg provides expertise, concrete solutions, and awareness-raising activities, supporting nearly 25% of Luxembourg’s workforce. Under the High Patronage of H.R.H. the Grand Duke since 2024, IMS also acts as a local hub for major European and international initiatives such as B Corp, CSR Europe, and the Inner Development Goals (IDG).

Founded in 1987 as an ASBL, our NGO is committed to strengthening the capacities, resources and skills of local producers from Asia, Africa and South America. 

At the same time, we support the sale of their products within the Weltbuttek /Boutique du Monde in Rue Louvigny, Luxembourg-City., thereby promoting fairer trade.

 

Thanks to our commitment, some fifty projects and initiatives have been financed up to 2025, contributing directly to the empowerment of local producers and to sustainable development.

White Tigers for Kids Luxembourg is a motorcycle association with a big heart, founded to protect and support children who are victims of bullying and mistreatment. Their mission is to offer a visible, reassuring presence by escorting children to school and providing emotional support, while always working hand-in-hand with families and official institutions.

Beyond their support actions, the White Tigers promote awareness and prevention of harassment, all while breaking stereotypes around bikers. Their diverse group embodies solidarity, inclusion, and protection for the most vulnerable. The association also helps children in need through donations of school supplies, games, and food, funded by charity rides and community events.

Ambulanz Wonsch Luxembourg is dedicated to creating "last memories" for terminally ill patients. Their mission is to fulfill the final wishes of people who are immobile and facing the end of life — whether it’s visiting home one last time, seeing a beloved pet, attending a family event, enjoying a sunset, or watching a concert or sports event.

By offering these unforgettable moments, Ambulanz Wonsch brings comfort, joy, and precious memories not only to the patients but also to their families and the volunteers who help make these wishes come true. Every fulfilled wish is a moment where illness fades away, and life takes center stage again, even if just for a little while.

La Main Tendue a.s.b.l. Angela has been supporting vulnerable individuals since 2005. The association provides two key services:

  • A Psycho-Socio-Educational Center, accredited by the Ministry of Education, offering professional support to children, young adults, and families who have experienced physical, psychological, or sexual violence, and whose psychological and social futures are at risk.
  • A Listening, Support, and Social Inclusion Center, aimed at individuals not eligible for state-provided services. This center, recognized by the Ministry of Family and Solidarity, operates largely thanks to donations and partnerships, offering structured, personalized support through a team of volunteers and professionals.

Through close collaboration with various social, family, and therapeutic organizations, La Main Tendue works to rebuild lives and empower those facing distress, ensuring no one is left without help.

Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse works to promote social integration and inclusion for the most vulnerable individuals in Luxembourg. Often acting as a last resort when traditional social support systems fail, the Foundation offers urgent, holistic assistance tailored to each person’s situation. Their aim is not only to provide immediate help but also to foster long-term social reintegration and independence, always working closely with public and private social services.

Beyond its local actions, the Foundation is committed internationally, supporting humanitarian development projects and championing key causes like the fight against sexual violence in conflict zones. Through initiatives such as the Stand Speak Rise Up! movement, led by H.R.H. the Grand Duchess, the Foundation brings global attention to the rights and dignity of survivors of wartime sexual violence.

Association luxembourgeoise de lutte contre la mucoviscidose has been connecting patients, families, doctors, therapists, and researchers since its founding in 1991. Education & Youth Engagement: Building the Future of Solidarity

Beyond the participation of NGOs, the Journée de la Solidarité is also supported by key educational institutions and youth organizations, ensuring that the next generation is actively involved in shaping a more inclusive and engaged society. Lycée Vauban, Lycée Aline Mayrisch, the University of Luxembourg, and the Service National de la Jeunesse (SNJ) are joining the event, bringing students, young leaders, and educators together to promote social responsibility and community engagement.

Through interactive activities, workshops, and awareness campaigns, these institutions will empower young people with the tools and mindset to drive change. Their involvement highlights the crucial role of education in fostering solidarity, civic participation, and intercultural understanding—values that are at the heart of this event.
